HOTTEST NEWS TODAY!!! Ray exposed at last as surprise Emmerdale visitor ‘catches him out’
Let’s face it. Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) isn’t exactly winning any popularity contests in Emmerdale.
Not content with grooming teenagers like April (Amelia Flanagan) and Dylan (Fred Kettle) into his drug-dealing side hustle, he’s a key player in his mother Celia’s (Jaye Griffiths) people trafficking business and has coerced the formidable Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) into domestic slavery.
Fans are simply dying for the slimy wrong’un to get caught out before Christmas. Well, it looks like Christmas might have just come early…
When Dylan (Fred Kettle) and Billy (Jay Kontzle) are shocked to find a full-scale police investigation underway at the depot, Ray’s the closest he’s ever been to a prison.
The boys and girls in blue are here, and they’re investigating reports of drugs being moved through the premises.
In no hurry for a holiday at His Majesty’ Pleasure, Ray orders Dylan to temporarily shut down their operation until the heat’s off. But Ray’s troubles are far from over, as he reminds Dylan and April. There’s still a rat amongst them.
With such a hectic time at work, it’s a wonder Ray’s got time to change into another one of those stylish plaid shirts – let alone dating. But Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) is positively giddy about her date with Emmerdale’s answer to Tony Soprano as she waxes lyrical to Nicola (Nicola Wheeler).
Intrigued, Nicola decides to indulge in some light cyber stalking just to make sure Ray is boyfriend material.

Only because she’s looking out for Laurel (and also because she’s really nosey, obvs). But to her surprise, there’s practically no trace of Ray online.
What kind of monster doesn’t even have an Instagram account? Nicola’s suspicions are racing.
Who will bring Ray down first – the police force, or the most passive aggressive café owner in Yorkshire? Answers on a post card, please.
