Kit leaves, but hangs around outside the door to listen in as Costello answers a call from Becky.
Carl continues his cruel manipulation of Debbie, slyly marking an invoice from Preston’s Petals as ‘paid’. When Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) attempts to deliver the flowers, she’s furious as Carl tells her she hasn’t been paid, but he’ll take care of it, while suggesting to Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) that Debbie clearly forgot to deal with the transfer. Debbie is broken, convinced her symptoms are worsening, leading Ronnie to suggest she retire.

Taking Becky home to sober up, Carla arrives, furious at being stood up. Seeing Becky descend the stairs while wearing Lisa’s dressing gown, she furiously orders Becky out, though Lisa fails to defend her.
Elsewhere, when Dev visits Asha, he’s heartened to learn she’s ready to come home, though when she reveals her friends haven’t been to visit her, he later goes for Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby), Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) and Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) for their perceived lack of support, while Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) is floored to find Fiz at the Chariot Square hotel, Debbie and Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) go head to head and Kit worries about Costello when he’s absent from work.
