Emmerdale confirms huge danger for Dylan as he makes a life-threatening move
Emmerdale’s Dylan Penders has made a risky decision to keep his girlfriend April Windsor out of Ray Walters’ dodgy deals. Dylan and April are working for Ray and his mum, criminal mastermind Celia Daniels, to repay their debts.
In new scenes, Dylan was worried about April, who had been working herself thin and nearly got assaulted during a meeting with one of Ray’s clients.
Opening up with Billy Fletcher, who sensed his younger colleague had “woman problems”, Dylan seemed concerned.
“I just think maybe April could do with a break, but she won’t listen,” he told Billy, who said she may need “a bit of a push”.

Later on at Caleb Miligan’s depot, Billy checked in with Dylan about what he intended to do with April. “I’ll solve it some other way,” Dylan said. “I think I already know how anyway, so…”
Unexpectedly, the police showed up at the depot. While Caleb was nowhere to be found, Jai Sharma was there to speak with DS Carter.
The detective informed him they had received a call about drugs being moved through the business. While Jai was adamant nothing of the sort was going on, viewers know that Ray and Celia had been using the depot to move their stash with Dylan’s help.
As the police searched the premises, Dylan called Ray to warn him. “They’re searching now. I can’t talk but I’ll meet you there,” Dylan told Ray.
Meeting up with Ray, Dylan assured him the police wouldn’t be able to find anything suspicious. “I’ve always made sure to leave it clean,” Dylan said.
“You did good today,” Ray replied.

When Dylan suggested they should lay low for a while as the police wouldn’t let it go, Ray agreed.
“Might put a pause on operations. Just for a bit, until the heat dies down,” Ray said. “And that… Mum won’t be happy with.”
After Ray left, a smug smile on Dylan’s face confirmed he was the snitch. The teen met up with April, telling her it was unlikely Ray would give her more work for the day.
“The police raided the depot,” Dylan announced. “Ray says we need to cool it for a bit until the heat dies down. You know, take a break.”
April immediately realised that Dylan must’ve been the one who tipped off the police. “And did you have anything to do with it?” she asked him. “Did you call the police?”
After initially denying, Dylan admitted he did alert the police but “didn’t give them a name”.
“I’m sorry. I just thought, you know, if the police are sniffing round, then Ray’ll give you some space, and I was right so…”
“I told you to let it go,” she answered.
A panicked April worried that Ray would find out that Dylan was responsible for their trouble.
In the final scenes, Ray caught up with the teen couple, warning them that there was “a rat” within the organisation.
“I’m not gonna stop until I find out who it is,” Ray said angrily as April sighed loudly.
