Emmerdale legend confesses to murder in new spoiler video as loved ones reel
This is the moment everything changes for April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan), as she finally reveals a major secret to Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) and Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) in Emmerdale.
April has been dealing drugs for Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) and Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) for the majority of this year.
At first, April started doing this to help Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle). A situation was then orchestrated by Ray which left April and Dylan under the impression they needed to move more drugs to pay off a very large amount of debt.
As her desperation to be free from the dangerous world grew, April found herself accepting a different type of job offers from Ray.
It involved her dealing drugs to older men and spending time with them afterwards. April also knew that these males were sexually attracted to her.
During a meeting with a man called Callum, April defended herself by hitting him with a bottle. He fell onto the bed and started bleeding afterwards, leaving April convinced that she had killed him.
She told Ray and Celia, but does not know that Callum is actually alive.
In this new video, Rhona and Marlon announce their plans to take April to the station. By this point, they already know that she’s been dealing drugs. The couple do not have any idea who Celia is though, and how dealing with someone who has reported her to the police can happen with the snap of her finger.
On top of all of this, April is also dealing with a recurring nightmare that features Marlon getting shot dead in the aftermath of her confessing.
In the clip, Marlon and Rhona believe that April’s panic is simply because she’s scared about the police getting involved.
Absolutely terrified, April prevents her dad from leaving the house and then tells him that she killed someone.
The trio have no idea of the danger they’ll find themselves in next – but what will Celia do as she makes it clear she now owns April’s family?
‘What that means, is that she will have to explain to them in no uncertain terms, what their new reality is’, Jaye Griffiths said.
‘April will have brought this upon her own family, this is her doing. Celia warned her what would happen, and now this is going to happen. Celia doesn’t make empty threats. She just states realities and consequences, and the consequence of this is, now I own your family.’
Next week is going to be huge for people involved in this storyline, as there’s also major developments regarding someone on Celia’s farm.
This will be discovered by Celia in a few days time, and she is furious that once again, Ray has made a mistake.
‘They never take locals, because of this scenario’, star Jaye explained.
‘Locals have families, locals are known, they’re missed, we don’t touch them. What has Ray done? The level of irritation that Celia has with Ray is sometimes beyond measure.
