Nicola Mitchell will deliver a huge bombshell on EastEnders as she relays the news that she is pregnant. With her ex-husband Teddy facing the prospect of time behind bars and her son Harry battling a drug addiction, the news comes amid a hectic time for the family.

The Mitchells have been in the thick of the drama lately following Harry’s kidnapping by the villainous Okie, who held him captive. Harry eventually broke free and killed the drug dealer, though his father Teddy took the fall for the crime.

Harry, who has been wracked with guilt at his crime and the fact that his father would be taking the blame, has since turned to drugs. Nicola, meanwhile, has been trying to keep the family together.

In scenes set to air across Monday and Tuesday (8 and 9 December), George Knight checks in with Harry to assess his mental and physical state, but inadvertently reveals that Teddy will be pleading guilty to Okie’s murder during the upcoming trial.

This causes Harry to spiral, and he reveals that he was the one who killed the drug dealer. George urges him to hand himself in to the police, but Nicola arrives and delivers a major bombshell.

She tells George that she is pregnant with his child following their brief romance, with the news rocking George to his core. He later speaks to Honey to check if it’s true, and she corroborates Nicola’s story.

George and Nicola meet up for a drink later on, though they are unaware that Harry has spiralled even further and is taking drugs at home. As they arrive, they discover a note from Harry, who has seemingly gone AWOL…

With Harry missing once again and Teddy preparing for some jail time, a pregnancy for Nicola certainly won’t make matters any calmer. How will she prepare for her future, and how will Teddy react to the news if he finds out?
