Coronation Street will see the Bailey family in shock once Dee-Dee drops a bombshell about her career plans.

In scenes airing later this month, Dee-Dee breaks the news that she’s got a new job. Ed couldn’t be happier and suggests they all meet at the Bistro to celebrate.

But when Dee-Dee reveals where her new job will take her, Ed, Michael and James reel in shock.

Dee-Dee has previously told Alya Nazir that she plans to take baby Laila away to Singapore with her, but how will James react?

Later in the week, James isn’t coping with Dee-Dee’s big news as he makes a mistake that could expose his affair with Carl Webster.

James looks at the message he sent to Carl and kicks himself. He tells Carl to ignore his message, saying he was drunk and it was a mistake.

When Carl reveals that he’s lost his phone, James tells him he’d better hope that Abi doesn’t see it. Fans know Carl has been cheating on Abi with James, as the secret romance is now set to be caught out.

Carl manages to find his phone but before he can stop her, Abi catches a look over his shoulder. What does she see? And how will Carl get out of this one?
