The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, January 15, reveal that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will be kept in the dark while Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) forces Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) confession.

Following Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) decision to check himself out of the hospital, he’ll hide something from Sharon. Nick may try to keep Sharon from finding out about his early release as long as possible.

Even if Sharon discovers Nick went against his doctors orders, he may leave her out of the loop on some of his next moves.

Nick will move forward with some big plans, so let’s talk about those for a moment.

Since Nick thinks he might be the only person who can get through to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), he might give it a try on Thursday’s Y&R episode.

However, Phyllis will rush to her own defense and refuse to listen to Nick or anyone else who complains.

That goes for Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) too since he’s bound to lash out at Phyllis soon.

Phyllis may get an angry phone call from Summer Newman (last played by Allison Lanier) as well, but she’ll feel justified in pulling off all this Newman chaos with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).

Of course, Nick’s main goal will be neutralizing Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), so he’ll turn to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) for assistance within the next episode or two.

Since the Abbotts have Matt in their custody, Nick may push Jack to hand Matt over to the cops and let him end Matt permanently.

It’s clear that Nick can’t rest until Matt’s out of the picture for good, so he’ll take steps to keep his loved ones safe.

As for Sally, she’ll be suspicious of what Billy’s up to. Sally will put Billy through a grilling session and ultimately pry a confession out of him.

It sounds like Billy will admit Cane set up a meeting with him, so that news should leave Sally on high alert.

Billy has enough troublemaker tendencies without Cane pushing him even further down a sinister path, so Sally will have concerns.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally will deliver a warning once she gets updates, but Billy may insist on heading off to meet with Cane anyway.
