Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will come home and no doubt express some picture frame confusion. That’ll surely lead to Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) facing some horror over the stalker’s bugged gift.

At the end of DOOL’s January 23 episode, a box was found outside Stephanie and Alex’s door.

There were some concerns at first, but Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) opened it and deduced that the picture frame inside was from EJ based on the card.

That left Alex and Stephanie a bit puzzled since EJ’s not really someone they expected to get an engagement present from, especially since he’s out of town.

Nevertheless, Stephanie and Alex assumed EJ saw the announcement and had Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney) send something for him.

Of course, Days viewers saw the truth when a mysterious character was revealed to be listening in on the conversation through the bugged frame.

It’s obvious this gift didn’t come from EJ at all and only serves to keep the stalker in the loop.

Once EJ comes home from Italy, it’s easy to imagine Stephanie thanking him for the gift during an encounter somewhere.

That’s when EJ may wonder what Stephanie’s talking about and deny sending a present.

EJ might admit he wasn’t even aware that Alex popped the question.

Stephanie may feel panic rising up once again as she updates Steve and Alex on EJ’s news.

This could lead to Steve discovering that the frame has a listening device planted in it.

Alex and Stephanie will have another reason to worry about the threat they’re facing once the bug is found.

Steve might suggest pretending they don’t know about the listening device and offering up some bogus info that could help set a trap.

The goal is to catch this guy, so Days spoilers suggest Steve may think they should beat him at his own game.

Since Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark) was stuck at the Salem PD all night before this gift was delivered, Alex and Stephanie may have to give the setup idea extra consideration.

Jeremy could’ve dropped the box off after he was released, but Stephanie and Alex may be more inclined to look at other suspects once they discover this picture frame trick.

However, Days spoilers say there’ll be some twists and turns as Jeremy works to clear his own name.

Jeremy hasn’t officially been charged with anything, but his mission to prove his innocence will get messy!

Alex is going to jump to additional conclusions and attack Jeremy down the road.

Stephanie will still get snatched in the end – most likely due to the return of Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey), her former kidnapper who’s still fixated on her.
