Coronation Street reveals who overhears Theo’s killer secret tonight
Coronation Street villain Theo Silverton is facing his biggest crisis yet – now that scheming Carl Webster knows his darkest secret. The plot twist is revealed in tonight’s episode and could open a whole new chapter of trouble for Theo.
Viewers have seen Theo struggle with his guilt this month after cruelly leaving Billy Mayhew to die in the Corriedale crash. But when he tries to unburden himself with a secret apology this evening, it turns out to be a terrible mistake.
Tuesday’s episode sees Theo’s inner turmoil grow as Billy’s funeral gets closer. He even seeks out the Bishop for a chat, admitting that he feels responsible for Billy’s demise.
Theo unsurprisingly disguises the reasons for his troubled state of mind, falsely making out that he tried to save Billy but failed. Describing Theo’s feelings as “classic survivor guilt”, the Bishop reassures him and encourages him to talk to God.
Later, Theo steps in to mind the undertakers for a while when George Shuttleworth has to pop out.

Theo takes this opportunity to approach Billy’s coffin – declaring just how sorry he is for leaving him to die.
“Please believe me when I say I’m sorry, Billy,” Theo explains. “If I’d had time to think… if I’d have calmed myself down, I’d have got you out.
“You know I would. It was a moment of madness, leaving you there. And I don’t think I’ll ever forgive myself. I’m so sorry. But I’m not an evil man – I’m not. I’m not a killer. I’m just a bloke who loves his partner too much, maybe.
“I just hope you’re at peace and you can understand.”

Theo’s emotional monologue is interrupted when he hears the front door to the undertakers slam shut. He’s horrified to think that he’s been overheard and rushes out, but the mystery visitor is nowhere to be seen.
Viewers are given an explanation, though – as we spot a very smug Carl watching Theo from a distance.
We know how ruthless Carl can be when he has a target in his sights, so Theo should certainly be worried. Will Carl expose Theo’s evil side to everyone, or find a way to work the situation to his advantage? We fear it could be the latter…
