SINGLE WHITE FEMALE Coronation Street’s sexy newcomer in ‘Single White Female’ plot as she seduces her own SISTER’S husband in steamy scenes
I can reveal she’ll carry out a twisted revenge plot against the sibling she says abandoned her as a child.
She’ll emulate Shona, and “steal her life” just like the 1992 movie Single White Female, starring BRIDGET FONDA and JENNIFER JASON LEIGH.
Jodie will also try to nab her sister’s friends and turn her step-daughter against her – and even try to seduce her brother in law, David Platt, played by JACK P SHEPHERD.
The bombshell storyline will see David tempted by Jodie just weeks after wife Shona gave birth to their baby daughter Harper.
Shona, played by JULIA GOULDING, cheated on David in 2024 with hunky policeman Kit Green.
David forgave her but knowing what she did to him he could well be charmed by Jodie – which would turn out to be the biggest mistake of his life.
A Corrie source said: “Jodie is going to do everything she can to seduce David.
“She is fixated on Shona’s life and she wants it for herself. She wants to become her.
“There’s definitely a bit of ‘single white female’ with this storyline.
Bosses are convinced it’s going to have viewers shouting at their television screens as it all plays out. It’s going to be pure soap drama.”
Olivia is engaged to This City is Ours’ actor James Nelson-Joyce. The pair, who are both from Liverpool, have been dating for the last few years and announced their engagement back in August.
The source added: “Corrie bosses are over the moon with Olivia. She’s been a brilliant addition to the cast and some of the stuff they’re filming at the moment has got everyone very excited.
“She’s certainly sexing up those famous cobbles with her antics. This really is the perfect storyline for her.”
Viewers will be able to watch Jodie execute her sick plan over the next two months.
