Victoria Fights Back

Victoria arrives at Crimson Lights, where Nate asks her to join him. Reluctantly, she sits and tells him, “It’s gone, Nate. It’s all gone.” She complains about Phyllis gloating and explains that this would be really hard to prove in court… Cane knows that.

Nate curses out Cane, who cost his brother his life. Victoria explains her father and Adam have come up with a counterattack, but Victor’s keeping her in the dark. She fumes that she’ll come up with a plan of her own.

As Mariah panics about what she’s done, Ian appears and advises her not to lose her resolve. “You did it. You have a family again.” They bicker and Ian clucks that guilt is a useless emotion. She has to put herself first.

Ian and Mariah keep up the debate about how she’ll pull this off. Ian is sure that deep down, children already fear their parents will abandon them. Mariah is suitably appalled. Ian croons that she can show Dom what a true family is… she can save him if she has faith in herself.

Audra Accepts

At Society, Audra accepts Sally’s job offer, but can’t help but worrying that Jill will find out and pull the funding. Sally has her back… she can start right now. Audra gushes about how much this means to her given all she’s lost lately. On cue, Nate walks in with Victoria.

Audra sulks that the twosome will be a couple soon, but Sally isn’t convinced. Audra admits she screwed up… and she misses him. Across the room, Victoria offers to go somewhere else, but Nate suggests they go address the elephant in the room. They approach the ladies.

Small talk ensues until Sally asks about Victoria about Cane and Phyllis taking control. Victoria plays it cool, saying it will be short-lived. She accuses her of fishing for a story, but Sally denies it.

Talk turns to Billy, and Sally shocks Victoria by declaring he’s no longer a part of Abb Comm. Vikki instantly realizes Cane’s offered him Chancellor. She vows he won’t get his hands on it and asks what it means for the two of them. Sally hedges that she and Billy are trying to work things out, but she’ll run Abb Comm with or without him. Victoria’s interested to see if she can pull that off.

With that snarky comment, Victoria trots off to get a table. Audra tells Nate about her visit with Amy. He allows that he’s glad she got to see her and joins his dinner date.

At their table, Victoria’s not surprised about Billy and Chancellor, but tells Nate he’s in for a rude surprise. They’re getting it back. They’re getting everything back.
