At the beach house, Dylan’s embarrassed, but Will assures her it’s OK. There’s just no room in there for ballet kicks and twirls. He tells her she’s an amazing dancer.
Outside, Ivy peers in through the window.
After checking on Hayes, Dylan finds Will outside taking a shower. Ivy has retired to the bushes and watches as they make small talk about him swimming before bed. Will assures her the sharks are asleep. She hands him his towel as Ivy eyeballs them.
She continues creeping through the window when Dylan and Will go inside. They sit, and Will opens up about what it was like growing up in boarding school and with parents who were always splitting up. He complains that his dad would leave his mom for his Aunt Brooke. Tearing up, Will sniffs that he knows his dad loves him. Dylan places her hand on Will’s in comfort as Ivy grimaces disapprovingly.
Will goes over the rape with Dylan, marveling that it was insane that this crazy woman was going to have his kid. Dylan admits she has nightmares about what she did to Luna… what if she was still pregnant and she killed a child. Will assures her the baby was gone. He wishes he could take away her guilt. “There was nothing redeemable about Luna.” He’s glad she’s gone.
Outside, Ivy shakes her head in disgust as, inside, Will tells Dylan he’s really glad she’s there.
Will updates Dylan that Finn will be over to get Hayes in the morning. They discuss her need for a job, and he tells her she’s easy to talk to, patient, and great with kids. She’s also creative. Dylan is game for anything… she’s always been a free spirit and a daredevil. Will urges her to go for a night swim while he checks on Hayes.
Electra’s Fear for Will
In San Francisco, Electra and Steffy relax with a glass of wine. Naturally, they have to go over Will and Dylan watching Hayes. Electra is sure the boy will have a great time spending the night with her friend… and her boyfriend.
Electra declares that she has total faith in Will, and Dylan gets it. She doesn’t think she needs to worry about that, but she fears for Will at work. Steffy’s surprised. Electra points out he’s a Spencer and with Katie leaving, she worries for his future. Steffy thinks she might love this guy… she admires how much Electra supports him.
Back at the beach house, Dylan’s now in the outdoor shower and Ivy’s back in the bushes. Will hands Dylan her towel and admires her being a daredevil. In the greenery, Ivy whispers, “It’s not proper at all.”
Will thanks Dylan for helping out and she tells him he can get her up if Hayes awakens. She gushes about him being a great guy, adding that he has great taste in women. “You’re a lucky guy.” They grin foolishly at each other as Dylan says it’s been a memorable night. In the shrubbery, Ivy scoffs and mutters, “If only you knew, Electra.”
The Final Scenes
In San Fran, Steffy and Electra circle back to talking about, what else, but Will and Dylan. Steffy asks if she’s sure she’s alright with them watching Hayes together. Electra nods. It’s an unusual situation, but it’s OK for this one night. Although, Ivy doesn’t think so. Steffy chuckles that Ivy never holds back.
In her room, Dylan is startled when Ivy walks in and remarks that she’s surprised the door wasn’t wide open with a red light on. She starts going on about her sweet, trusting niece being out of town while Dylan’s making moves on Will. “I saw everything Miss Dylan. I know exactly what you’re up to and it’s not happening. I will not let you get away with trying to steal Electra’s boyfriend.”
