Emmerdale has aired a shocking discovery after two bodies were found at Butlers Farm – and huge trouble is set to follow. In tonight’s episode, the bodies of Celia Daniels and Anya Berisha were found on Moira Dingle’s land.

Viewers know that Anya tragically died after falling ill, while being forced to work on Celia’s farm. Celia tasked Ray and Bear with burying the body on some farmland belonging to Butlers.

Meanwhile, Celia was killed by her son Ray, who is now dead too, who disposed of her body after stabbing her.

During a shocking moment in the latest instalment of the soap, DS Walsh turned up at Butlers farm, saying that the police needed to search one of the fields.

After Moira said “I’ve got nothing to hide”, she gave them permission to search her land. As Caleb and Ruby, who had previously tried to help Anya, watched on, two body bags were removed from the police tent.

When a devastated Ruby asked Caleb what was happening, he replied: “I don’t know, but Moira’s going to have to come up with something pretty impressive to explain away two bodies on her land.”

Next week, Moira will get the blame for the dead bodies. With Moira already under investigation for human trafficking, thanks to false evidence planted by Robert Sugden, she assumes the police are there to talk about that, but they soon reveal that there have been further developments.

Cain and Moira are shocked when they are both arrested in front of their kids. After being taken to the police station they are questioned separately about the bodies that were found, and the severity of the situation kicks in.

Cain is quickly released without charge, but the police give Moira a much harder time. Unaware of the identity of the bodies that were uncovered, Moira insists that she has been set up by Celia.

Unfortunately for Moira, her defence falls apart when DS Walsh lets her know that one of the dead bodies they found belongs to the evil crime boss.

Caleb Miligan enlists a hot-shot solicitor, but is given bad news, which he shares with Cain. With the other body identified as Anya, one of Celia’s forced workers, police find even more evidence.

After Caleb tells Cain that the body of Anya was found wrapped in a blanket belonging to Moira, Cain explodes into a rage, saying he won’t leave without his wife. Will they be able to prove Moira’s innocence?
