Lisa Riley Finally Breaks Silence on Her Emmerdale Future After I’m A Celeb — Is Mandy About to Leave Forever? 😱🌴
Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley has confirmed her future in the soap as her character Mandy Dingle prepares to return to the village. Riley has been on a short break from the soap but when Mandy comes back to the Dales next week there’ll be some shocking revelations in store.
Riley, who first played Mandy way back in 1995, appeared on the most recent series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! back in November, and has found herself in high demand ever since.
Speaking to The Sun, Riley revealed: “I’ve had some very flattering TV offers. They have been TV projects, like doing impressions like I did in Australia.
“Hopefully, Ginge and I are going to do stuff together again, so long as it’s around my Emmerdale commitments.”
But despite getting more TV offers, Riley has confirmed she’s sticking around in Emmerdale.

“That is where my heart lies — I love working there,” Riley said. “I never ever take anything for granted and, as long as the Emmerdale producers want me, I want to stay.
“I’ve just signed a new one-year contract. If I were to take any extra things on, it would have to be around Emmerdale.”
When Many arrives back in the village next week she’ll be met by police officers, after her father-in-law Bear’s arrest for Ray Walters’ murder.
Things are then set to get worse as Paddy is taken by the police, leaving Dylan and Marlon to explain the full story to Many.
Riley said: “They have definitely not brought Mandy back quietly.

“Paddy has been keeping a lot from her, but as soon as she discovers what has been going on, Mandy goes into mum mode.
“She wants to be the rock for Paddy and [teenager] Dylan, who has become like a surrogate child to them.
The actress added: “She will go to any lengths to protect them both. And if that means lying, then she will. She is a Dingle to the core.”
