NEW UPDATE! Helen Flanagan and Brooke Vincent glowing as they’re finally back together

Coronation Street stars Helen Flanagan and Brooke Vincent have thrilled fans by reuniting this weekend.

In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Rosie and Sophie Webster stars attended a star-studded event at Salford’s Lowry Hotel.

The annual lunch, geared toward celebrating women’s achievements and resilience, saw guest speakers share inspiring stories and performers take to the stage for an afternoon of entertainment.

Also in attendance were Coleen Rooney, Hollyoaks and Waterloo Road star Chelsee Healey, cast members of the Real Housewives of Cheshire, and TV personality Charlotte Dawson, who spoke candidly about her experience with bullying.

Helen and Brooke were glowing as they posed together for photos, with fans taking to the comments section of Helen’s Instagram post to share their love.

‘Beautiful,’ one said, while another gushed: ‘Looking fabulous that dress is gorgeous.’

‘Love the photo of you and Brooke,’ a third wrote, while a fourth shared the same sentiments, echoing: ‘Lovely picture of you and Brooke.’

Recently, fans took to social media demanding a return to the cobbles for Sophie and Rosie, after Helen shared a selfie with Brooke and on-screen mum Sally Metcalfe actress Sally Dynevor.

Her Corrie co-stars supported her from the audience as she took to the stage as Catherine in The Memory of Water at the Octagon Theatre, Bolton.

Fans are desperate to see Sophie and Rosie Webster back on the cobbles
Posting the pic to her Instagram feed, Helen revealed that she ‘loves them both so much’, and was met with countless comments from fans calling for the family to reunite on the cobbles.

And it seems Helen is more than ready to return to her roots in the ITV soap, almost a decade on from her last appearance.

The actress first appeared in the role of Rosie at just nine years old, and made quite an impact with her storylines over the years, from her goth phase to her ordeal with serial killer John Stape.

Her final appearance came in 2018, when Helen went on maternity leave. Brooke’s exit as Sophie followed in 2019 for the same reason.

Speaking to the Liverpool Echo in a recent interview, Helen revealed that she’s more than ready to return to Corrie, enthusing that she’s keen to concentrate on her acting again, having participated in several reality shows.
‘Honestly if they want me to come back, I’d love to, but [show bosses] just haven’t spoke to me. Everybody always asks me, “When are you going back to Corrie?” And it’s like, “They haven’t called me”. If you want to call me, that’s great. But they haven’t.’

Brooke, who took on the role of Sally’s often-referenced lesbian daughter Sophie in 2004, has also previously expressed a willingness to go back to the Manchester-based soap.

‘I think I would [go back to Corrie], I think now the kids are a little bit older and they’re going to start school. I’d love to go back,’ she said on Charlotte Dawson’s Naughty Corner Podcast.
