General Hospital‘s Michael shared a moment with Danny that reminded us of the past. He will look out for Jason’s son the way that Jason looked out for him.Jason & Michael
Jason (Steve Burton) helped raise Michael (Rory Gibson – who recently had a night out in NYC). He took care of him himself for the first year of his life because Carly (Laura Wright) was unable to.

Jason was a force in Michael’s life long after Carly’s return, and even after she married Sonny (Maurice Benard). Sonny may have been his dad, but he looked up to his uncle. Jason even went so far as to have himself sent to prison to rescue Michael when he was in danger.
The Next Generation
Jason may be the best uncle, but he may not be the best dad. He is great when he is around, but the problem is, he isn’t around that much. It’s not necessarily all his fault, but he tends to prioritize saving everyone else over spending time with his children.
Jake (ex-Hudson West) is off at art school, which his dad did pay for, but who knows if they even speak to each other?
Then there is Danny (Asher Antonyzyn). He and his dad have bonded since Jason’s latest return from the dead, which has been wonderful for both of them. Unfortunately, it looks like Dad is planning another disappearing act (we know that Steve Burton is leaving for a while). First, he asked Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Tracy (Jane Elliot) if they would like custody of Danny “just in case.” They both did, but Jason hasn’t made a decision as far as we know.

Now he has asked Michael to look out for Danny in his absence. Michael quickly agreed and then spoke with Danny. The conversation went well, and Jason’s son now knows that Michael is someone he can always turn to. He even offered the teen the use of the gatehouse, which thrilled Danny.
