HOTTEST NEWS TODAY!!! Forgotten Emmerdale star teases unexpected return – and it would be juicy
Emmerdale’s Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) and Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) have taken over Butler’s farm, but a former star has teased an unlikely return that could throw a spanner in the works.
Replying to the official Emmerdale account’s Instagram post announcing the Sugdens’ return to Emmerdale Farm, actor Lyndon Ogbourne asserted that his Dales alter-ego Nathan Wylde wouldn’t let that go unchallenged.
‘Let’s see what Nathan has to say about that…you clearly didn’t check the contract,’ he wrote.
Viewers may remember Nathan as the meddling son of Mark and Natasha Wylde, whose stint in the village between 2009 and 2010 saw him attempt to destroy multiple relationships and blackmail his own mother.
We certainly wouldn’t put it past him to try to take over the farm from right under Robert and Aaron’s noses, and fans are clearly on board with the possibility of the divisive character making an unexpected return.
‘I’d love a Nathan comeback,’ one said, and another added: ‘Me too.’
Could Lyndon be hinting at an unexpected return for Nathan to scupper Robert and Aaron’s future plans? And could he bring the rest of the Wyldes with him?
Of course, Natasha is still in prison serving out her 21 year sentence for killing husband Mark, but there’s still Will and Maisie (great name) to consider.
Lyndon wasn’t the only former star of the ITV soap to reflect on their character’s reaction to the farm takeover, with Adam Barton actor Adam Thomas also commenting on the post.
‘Barton won’t be happy about this!!!’ He joked, instantly receiving numerous replies from fans begging him to ‘come back and sort it’.
‘I dare you to come back,’ one said, while another wrote: ‘Get back and help your poor mum.’

Viewers will know that Moira and Cain Dingle (Natalie J Robb and Jeff Hordley) had to put the farm up for sale amid a tough time for the family.
Moira is currently locked up after being framed for the deaths of Celia Daniels and trafficking victim Anya, after their bodies and legal documents were found on her land.
At the same time, Cain has been dealing with a prostate cancer diagnosis.
With all of this going on, Moira made the tough decision to give up her beloved farm to focus on their family.
Adam spent his time in the Dales living and working at Butler’s, and as actor Adam points out, he would probably have strong opinions about Moira’s decision.

Refusing to give up Nathan’s claim to the farm, Lyndon cheekily replied: ‘Bartons and Dingles….lol that’s Wylde land!’
During their time in the village, the Wyldes were the owners of Home Farm and the land surrounding it. Now, that role has fallen on the Tates, who are renting Emmerdale Farm to Robert and Aaron.
One person who is thrilled to see the farm back in the hands of the Sugdens is Kelvin Fletcher, who played Robert’s brother Andy Sugden until his exit in 2016.
‘Love this,’ he wrote, alongside a love heart emoji.
It has been a long time since the Sugdens were at the helm of the farm, despite the family having deep farming roots.

Addressing the future for beloved couple Robron, producer Laura Shaw previously said: ‘The Sugdens have always been at the centre of our village, having been the original farming family when Emmerdale was first created,’ she enthused.
‘This return to the farm’s roots is a powerful moment, echoing the early drama that unfolded when Annie Sugden and her sons, Jack and Joe, farmed the land.
‘Taking over the tenancy, grandson Robert wants to do his best and make his dad proud. With his loyal partner Aaron, they are ready for this new chapter and committed to making the farm thrive.
‘Farming remains a vital presence in Emmerdale, providing a daily dose of excitement and fresh air for our audience.’
