Coronation Street villain to leave soap in huge storyline – and it’s happening soon
Noah Hedley may have caused a fair bit of drama in Weatherfield in recent months, but the character will soon depart Coronation Street in a huge storyline.
The figure, played by former Casualty star Richard Winsor, made his debut on the cobbled streets back in May, with the character being introduced as a figure from Theo Silverton’s past.
It soon became apparent that Noah had a sketchy past, with the revelation being that he was involved in Theo’s conversion therapy. With their relationship already fractious, tensions escalated after Noah began a romance with Theo’s ex-wife, Danielle.
Owing to his relationship with Danielle, Noah has been privy to the custody arrangements involving Theo’s children, with his involvement in the meetings causing great distress to his adversary.
As proceedings will soon become heated, The Sun has reported that Noah will leave the ITV soap next week, with Winsor having already filmed his exit scenes ahead of his dramatic departure.
While we wait to see how the drama unfolds, we do know that Theo and Noah’s feud will intensify following the court hearing next week, with Theo being grilled by Danielle’s lawyer during proceedings.
“Danielle’s legal representative quizzes Theo about being violent,” said our Corrie insider. “She accuses him of assaulting Miles, so Theo responds by explaining that their altercation was an accident.
“While this is going on, Noah makes nasty comments under his breath, which Todd picks up on. And Todd becomes so furious with Noah that he ends up being escorted out of the courtroom by security.”
Noah subsequently displays his smugness after winding Todd up, and later heads to the Bistro in order to antagonise the pair even further. Theo, however, doesn’t rise to it this time, leaving the villain to scurry away.
The duo then get a shock as Danielle arrives and drops a bombshell about Noah. Later in the week, Todd confesses to Maria Connor that he’s shocked by Theo’s reaction to the development given his history with Noah – what could Danielle have told them?
