In Monday’s #BoldAndBeautiful recap, Carter tells Daphne to mind her business, RJ butts in, and threats fly between Ivy and Dylan.
At Forrester, in the design office, Dylan fumes that she deserves to know what Ivy is up to, given it affects her too. Ivy’s unapologetic, as expected. Dylan recalls that Daphne said she’d manipulated the entire situation. She wants the truth. “What did you do?!”
Dylan refuses to budge until she gets answers. Ivy tries to shrug it off until Dylan threatens to go to Daphne herself. Ivy stops her and confesses that it has to do with a letter Electra wrote to Will. He happened to not receive it. Dylan guesses, “Because of you.”
What About Meeee?
In the showroom, Electra cries to RJ that her life’s been flipped upside-down. Touching her face, he reminds her she’s not alone and then makes his exit. Suddenly, Will appears. Electra launches into complaining about Dylan working there and him not doing anything to stop it. He wasn’t about to do that after what she’s been through. Electra wails in “what about me?”
The Plot Block Continues
In the main office, Daphne and Carter canoodle and discuss how satisfying it’s been “trying for a baby.” Carter senses she’s distracted and wants to know what’s bothering her. She confesses, “It’s about Will and Electra.”
Carter asks how that’s her problem. Daphne says, “Ivy made it my problem.” RJ, of course, interrupts before she can elaborate. Inevitably, their work conversation turns to Electra and Will, and RJ trashes his cousin. Once alone, Daphne tells Carter that Will and Electra’s relationship was undermined. Carter suggests she let the drama take its course. “We can’t interfere,” he proclaims. The baby-making app goes off and they rush out.
Back in the showroom, Electra is still complaining about Dylan, and Will not telling her to leave his property. She accuses him of looking for excuses to keep her there with him. Will protests. Electra thinks she has a right to be upset. “When did you stop loving me?” she wails. He insists he didn’t. Cue RJ, who interrupts at a crucial moment, yet again.
Threat Number One
In the design office, Dylan learns that Ivy also nabbed Will’s necklace after he took it off and put it where Electra would assume he was breaking up for her. Dylan rants and raves at her for being cruel. Ivy hisses that she was protecting her niece and she’d do it again. In a really confess-y mood, she cops to pushing Electra toward RJ too.
Dylan rants about Ivy wrecking Electra’s relationship with the love of her life. Ivy scoffs at the very idea, and claims she’s doing this out of love. Dylan argues this isn’t love. She threatens to tell Will if Ivy doesn’t.
The Final Scenes
In the showroom, RJ compares Will to his father. The Spencer warns he’s crossing the line. RJ accuses him of sleeping with Dylan. Electra intervenes. RJ invites her to join him for lemon bars at the mansion tonight. She’s non-committal, so he leaves. Will grunts, “Is that what you want?” Electra says he’s been a good friend. Will scoffs and tells her to enjoy her evening. “Have a lemon bar for me,” he snarks. Electra can’t stand this and stalks off, leaving Will to brood.
In the design office, Dylan declares that Electra and Will would still be together if not for Ivy. “I’m telling them everything,” she proclaims. Ivy warns, “Not one word, missy.” She intones that Dylan’s not going to say anything to Will, and especially not to Electra, musing, “Your life is pretty good right now, isn’t it?”
Ivy points out that Dylan has a fancy new job and a gorgeous roof over her head. Dylan’s not playing this game. Ivy chuckles. Any can see Dylan’s in love with Will, and he seems to like her too… why not just take this as a win and go for it? Her niece deserves someone more impressive, like RJ.
Going further, Ivy threatens to make sure Dylan loses her job at Forrester if she breathes a single word of this… in fact, she’ll makes sure she never works in the fashion industry again. Ivy’s sure that one day, Dylan will thank her for this. “Have I made myself clear, Miss Dylan?! Don’t you ever say a word to anyone about me or that letter, especially to Will or Electra, or I’ll make sure you live to regret it.”
