HOTTEST NEWS TODAY!!! Emmerdale unexpectedly scraps romance storyline for two key characters
Emmerdale spoilers follow for Friday’s episode (10 October), which is available to watch now on streaming service ITVX and YouTube and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
Emmerdale has unexpectedly scrapped the budding romance between Belle Dingle and Kammy Hadiq in a surprise twist tonight. It looked like the pair could be the next popular couple in the Dales, but it could all be over before it’s even begun.
Belle and Kammy have been taking things slowly since they started seeing each other, but this week the pair decided to take things to the next level and they slept together.
The couple discussed the previous night in the café in today’s episode, and Lewis was thrilled to overhear that things had gone well for his mate.
Kammy called Belle “the girl of his dreams” – but once she’d left, it became clear that he wasn’t as sure about his new romance as he had made out.
He explained to Lewis that despite having a crush on Belle for ages, he found there wasn’t a spark between them. Lewis theorised that his friend had mistaken the thrill of the chase for attraction, and Kammy realised he was right.
Kammy thought he and Belle would be better off as friends but didn’t want the break the news to her in fear it would shatter her confidence after her ordeal with abusive husband Tom.
But Lewis encouraged him to be honest straight away as it would hurt Belle more if continued to lead her on.
Taking this advice, Kammy headed over to see Belle later in the episode, and it didn’t take long for her to twig that he was dumping her.
However, it wasn’t the awkward conversation Kammy was fearing, as Belle admitted that she also felt like something was missing in their relationship.
Regardless, Belle told Kammy she was grateful that her first experience of intimacy after Tom was with him, and the pair agreed to be firm friends.
It really does seem like this is the end for the new couple, but could there be more romance on the horizon for either Belle or Kammy?
