Harry Mitchell’s (Elijah Holloway) hostage nightmare intensifies in EastEnders next week as his attempts to protect Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) backfire.

Recent scenes on the BBC soap have seen Okie Okyere (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) and Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) keep Harry prisoner as punishment, believing he was responsible for planting a secret camera monitoring their drugs ring.

Meanwhile, they are also continuing to use Kojo as a mule, with his loved ones led to think he is at a car expo in Cardiff.

Next week, Harry remains trapped in Okie’s clutches as Kojo’s brother George Knight (Colin Salmon) begins to worry about his relative’s true whereabouts.

Keen to shut down George’s curiosity, Okie orders Harry to call Kojo to sort things out. Harry agrees, but once on the phone, he risks everything by urging Kojo to run away instead.

As Okie realises Harry has defied him yet again, the situation at the lock-up becomes even more volatile.

When Harry refuses to call Kojo and tell him to return to the handlers, Okie issues a chilling threat…

Meanwhile, Harry’s dad Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) grows increasingly concerned about his son after receiving an odd text from Harry’s phone.

Sensing something isn’t right, he confides in brother Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) and vows to head to Cardiff to track Harry down.

Later, a grim twist follows when Kojo unexpectedly returns to the flat and walks straight into danger.

Harry is horrified as he realises his desperate attempts to protect Kojo have failed, and Okie now has them both exactly where he wants them.

With Ravi currently out of town and Okie running wild, what will his next move be?
