Emmerdale’s April Windsor finds herself in a horrifying situation when she’s trapped in a hotel room with another of Celia Daniels’s clients.

The teen and her boyfriend Dylan Penders have been working for Celia and her son Ray Walters to repay their debts. When selling drugs wasn’t enough for Celia, the crime boss forced April into meeting with bigger clients who were after more than just some pills.

In tonight’s scenes, April spoke to Ray to know about Dylan, who she hasn’t seen or talked to since their failed attempt to escape. Worried about him, April couldn’t bring herself to back out of the latest job the mother-son duo gave her.

Ray ordered April to “make [herself] look pretty” for a client she was going to meet later that day. Reluctantly, April got ready and was sickened to find Celia out on a date with her grandfather Bob Hope.

As Bob ran upstairs to grab his wallet, Celia told April she looked nice.

“This is easy money, and the more times you do it, the easier it will get,” Celia told April, warning her against disappointing the client.

“Make the customer happy and he’ll come running back for more, like a little puppy dog,” Celia added.

Later on, April got to the client’s place. Callum introduced himself and made them both a drink, telling April there was “no rush”.

As he chatted away, April was visibly uncomfortable and started drinking more in a desperate attempt to numb herself. Callum stopped her before she could get drunk, saying that their small talk was over, and moving the action to the bedroom.

When April said she wanted to leave, Callum’s attitude changed. Despite having previously told she could’ve left at any point, he now threatened her and said the front door was locked.

“I don’t really care what you want or don’t want. I’m gonna do it anyway,” he said.

When he forced himself onto her, April pushed back. She grabbed the bottle of vodka and hit Callum on the head, with him falling back on the bed unconscious and losing blood.

Scared she might’ve killed him, April looked at him in shock.
