The cat is outta the bag — or should we say the bun is out of the oven? Over the weekend, Bold & Beautiful leading lady Ashleigh Brewer shared to Instagram a series of photos revealing that she is expecting her first child with husband Mark Bauch.

It was just after New Year that the actress, who’s played Ivy off and on since 2014, shared that she’d tied the knot on December 11 with Bauch, who was an executive producer on 2019’s The Two Popes, starring Anthony Hopkins and Jonathan Pryce. In other social-media posts, Brewer has called her now-husband “the greatest human I’ve ever met.”

As the newlyweds begin to expand their family, the Australian-born actress cheers, “We’re so excited.”

Her castmates are psyched for her, too. On screen, Ivy may be nothing but trouble for Dylan, but the down-on-her-luck co-ed’s portrayer Sydney Bullock exclaimed that Brewer is “just glowing.” Darin Brooks (ex-Wyatt), Karla Mosley (ex-Maya; now Dani, Beyond the Gates), Linsey Godfrey (ex-Caroline, now Sarah, Days of Our Lives), Rena Sofer (ex-Quinn) and more joined in the chorus of congratulations.

Brewer ended her initial run on Bold & Beautiful in 2018, then returned in 2024 — so far primarily to act as a sounding board for Ivy’s niece Electra. Lately, Ivy’s had a whole lot more to do, though, as she’s decided that Electra’s friend Dylan acted in a way that was “not proper at all” with her pal’s boyfriend, Will.
