CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? Joe and Graham stunned by the contents of Kim’s will in Emmerdale ITVX release – and who gets everything
The following article contains spoilers from the episode of Emmerdale dated March 16. It hasn’t aired on ITV1 yet, but can be viewed on ITVX.
Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) got a serious case of the ick as today’s Emmerdale episode opened, as he discovered Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) had spent the night with Kim Tate (Claire King).
In a momentary lapse of judgement, Graham turned the charm on and kissed Kim. The former couple then went upstairs and the next morning, Kim was doing something she doesn’t do often.
Smiling.
Kim had very much enjoyed her night with Graham and wondered if they should enjoy breakfast together. Unfortunately, Graham had no intention of spending anymore time with her. He gently told Kim that what happened was a mistake, failing to tell her the real reason why he came onto her.
Earlier in the day, Graham had planned to meet up with Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) so they could talk about their chemistry, but she failed to turn up because Ivy had injured herself at nursery. Because Graham didn’t know this, it looked like a rejection. Hurt and unable to drown his sorrows with alcohol, Graham slept with Kim instead.
As today’s instalment began, it didn’t take Graham very long to tell Joe that he was in a bad mood because he was still processing what happened with Kim. Joe was pretty horrified, and wondered if Graham had considered Kim’s feelings before he tried to kiss her.
Graham couldn’t contain his frustration in this moment and asked Joe why he actually has a relationship with Kim, the woman who once tried to get Joe killed.
Joe brought up Graham’s jealousy towards Kim a while later at the stables. According to Graham, he isn’t envious of Kim’s connection with Joe, he simply wants Joe to see that she really only cares about developing her empire.
Annoyed once again that it felt like Graham was asking him to choose, Joe told him to stop with the vendetta.
Graham’s theory that Kim doesn’t care about Joe was fuelled a while later though, as he made a discovery.

He presented Joe with an envelope and inside was Kim’s will. As he read through the papers, Joe naturally assumed that the house would go to him as it’s his ‘birth right’.
So yes, you best believe he grew consumed with rage when he learnt that Home Farm will be inherited by Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) when Kim dies.
Kim, Lydia and Sam Dingle (James Hooton) entered the house seconds later, and Joe chose to ignore his anger and keep the information to himself. He told Graham to keep quiet too, but is this because he’s now going to plan something bigger and get revenge on Kim?
Ever since Graham returned he’s been desperate to get Joe to see Kim for the woman she really is.
