If the young woman who visited Forrester Creations in Tuesday’s Bold & Beautiful didn’t immediately look familiar, it’s understandable. Dylan wasn’t exactly a frontburner character during her short run on the show this past summer as Hayes’ art teacher — remember, when Will’s beach house was being used as a daycare center?Dylan was, however, another victim of Luna’s reign of terror. After the psycho introduced herself as “Miss Sunshine” and taught the class origami, she tied up a terrified Dylan while she confronted Steffy at gunpoint. You’ll recall that that standoff led to Sheila losing another toe, Liam being shot in the chest and Luna “dying” for the first time.

Now Dylan has returned and confessed to Electra — with whom she is much better friends than we realized — that she just happened to be driving by the beach house when Luna ran into the road. Yes, she hit Luna, but it was an accident, she insisted. Dylan had tried to slam on the brakes, but it was too late.

In the aftermath of the accident, Dylan had called the police and done everything she was supposed to, she told Electra. Yet she remained traumatized by the fact that she’d taken a life — even if that life was Luna’s. “I will help you,” Electra promised. “We will get through this — together.”

Not sure what the point of this twist is, exactly. Was anybody asking who plowed into Luna? Did anybody care? Many fans just seemed happy that the Luna-tic had been squashed. At any rate, it looks like the show has an arc in store Dylan — and we’ll still be talking about Luna for weeks to come!
