After winning over viewers with her sharp wit and mischievous charm, Amy Robbins has officially signed a new contract to become a series regular on Coronation Street.

Amy, who first appeared in January 2023 for a brief guest role as Christina Boyd, mother to Daisy Midgeley, was initially meant for a short stint. But her standout performances have earned her a permanent place on the cobbles.

According to The Sun, producers were quick to secure the actress after her return this year proved a hit with fans. A source revealed: “Amy is classic Corrie. She’s impressed bosses with how she’s slotted into the cobbles effortlessly. It was a no-brainer to offer her a new contract. Christina is shaping up to be one of Corrie’s classic women, and there’s plenty to come as she and George grow closer.”
