Coronation Street’s twisted villain Becky Swain gets the Christmas of her dreams later this month, with Carla Connor out of the picture and Lisa back in her arms. But when Lisa starts to grow suspicious, Becky steps up her deadly plans.

Becky is determined to get her family out of Weatherfield before her wicked ways are rumbled, but can she manage it?

“Becky might be on the naughty list, but all her wishes have come true,” teases our Corrie source. “Becky’s devious schemes are paying off and she has Lisa right where she wants her. But when Lisa gets worrying news about Carla, will she snap out of Becky’s spell?”

Becky’s carefully laid plans crumble when she receives news that Costello is improving and is being moved to a rehab clinic. Masking her panic, she steals Lisa’s police badge and wheels Costello away. Has she silenced him for good – or does she have other plans for her partner in crime?

Meanwhile, heartbroken Lisa receives a text from Carla demanding she take her name off the mortgage. She’s even more crushed when photos appear of Carla sipping cocktails, seemingly in the sun in Lanzarote, as if their love story is a distant memory…

Seizing the opportunity to swoop in on her vulnerable estranged wife, Becky tells Lisa to forget Carla and enjoy Christmas. Becky delights in giving her ex a massage and then moves in for a kiss.

Determined Becky reminds Lisa that there’s nothing stopping them reuniting – but later Lisa reveals where her heart really lies. She texts Carla, admitting she’d do anything to win her back.

However, as Becky enjoys the perfect family Christmas, Lisa’s shaken by the news that Carla never actually checked into her hotel in Lanzarote… This seems highly worrying and suspicious, but what’s really going on?

“Becky’s schemes are starting to unravel,” our spy points out. “Kit’s suspicious over Costello’s whereabouts and Lisa’s digging in her heels over Spain. It’s time for serious action…”

Desperate to ensnare her family, Becky makes an extreme and dangerous move to prove they’re in immediate danger and need to move to Spain right away. With the plan in motion, Becky persuades Lisa and Betsy to ditch their phones and the trio prepare to head to the ferry.

Unable to reach Carla for a final goodbye, Lisa steels herself to bid farewell to Weatherfield, asking Sarah Barlow to return her engagement ring for her. Have Becky’s evil games paid off and separated Carla and Lisa forever? And where has Carla disappeared to?
