Coronation Street featured a Sophie and Rosie Webster mention on Tuesday’s episode
Coronation Street fans were quick to react on Tuesday’s episode over a Sophie and Rosie Webster update.
Helen Flanagan on potential Coronation Street return
Only recently, Tim and Sally Metcalfe have become foster parents to Brody, Joanie and Shanice after their mother, Lou Michaelis, was sent to prison. It comes after Mick Michaelis was also sent to prison for murdering PC Craig Tinker.
Joanie and Shanice have been left devastated over facing their first Christmas without their mum and after learning they were unable to visit her in prison on Christmas Day, Joanie shared her disappointment.
In a bid to make the children feel more welcome and at home, Sally, who had tastefully decorated a Christmas tree, decided to let Joanie take reign.
Pulling out a box of decorations, Joanie pulled out a homemade Santa decoration asking: “Who made this one? Sophie or Rosie?” to which Sally responded: “Is that the good one? Oh, Sophie!” with the duo laughing
Soap watchers will recall that Sophie and Rosie are Sally’s two daughters with ex-husband Kevin Webster. Sophie, played by Brooke Vincent, was last seen on the cobbles back in 2019 while Rosie, played by Helen Flanagan, was last seen in Weatherfield in 2018.
Taking to Twitter, now X, soap watchers were quick to react to the mention with some fans demanding the two daughters return. One person said: “Sophie and Rosie mentions are many these days. Come home, gerls #Corrie.”
Talking about a return, a different account put: “As a teenager, Sophie was an absolute JOY to watch. I loved the Webster family as a unit and she was pure comedy. Enjoyed her later years as well, come back please! #Corrie #CorrieCountdown.”

Another viewer commented: “The four as a unit I always thought was quite special and I’d love to have them all back on the street. Bring back Rosie and Sophie! #Corrie” while another added: “I think Tim and Sally’s foster kids would like Rosie and Sophie #corrie.”
It comes as Rosie actress Helen, 35, recently admitted she’d love to return to Coronation Street.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, she said: “I’d love to go back to Coronation Street, but they just haven’t asked me and I live around the corner, but they just haven’t asked me. I’d love to, if they asked me. I’d come back, but they obviously haven’t.”
