After six years away from the cobbles, Brooke Vincent has shared her hopes of returning toĀ Coronation StreetĀ ā and fans are thrilled. The 33-year-old actress, who first appeared as Sophie Webster in 2004, revealed she would ālove to go backā to the ITV soap now that her two young sons are older.
Speaking to theĀ Mirror, Brooke describedĀ CorrieĀ as her āhome,ā saying:
āWhenever, if ever, they ask me, Iād love to go back and see them. Itās a lovely place to work. I feel like Iāve had such a long time off to enjoy my children without the pressure of a tough filming schedule. Now theyāre older and more independent, Iād definitely be in a position to take on more work.ā

Viewers last saw Sophie in October 2019, when she left Weatherfield to go travelling after inheriting money from her Aunty Vi. Her final scene ā waving goodbye from a taxi ā left fans hopeful that her departure wasnāt permanent.

āIt was fab! I loved the play. It was a family production and we embraced our roles in it. It was hard juggling work and family life ā uniforms, hobbies, everything ā but I had a ball.ā

Since stepping back from acting, Brooke has focused on raising her two sons, Mexx, six, and Monroe, four, with partner and former footballer Kean Bryan. The actress admitted that parenting while pursuing creative work has been both rewarding and chaotic.
āAny parent will tell you, sometimes itās like juggling in the dark,ā she laughed. āI literally just wing it every day. Some days, I win at it, some days I donāt. Thatās life.ā

āItās fun, very tongue-in-cheek. We just have a laugh and tell stories about being parents. Itās not super polished ā just real, feel-good chaos.ā
