DON’T MISS IT !! Coronation Street’s Debbie Webster to fight back as her big moment goes wrong

Coronation Street’s Debbie Webster takes to the stage for her important Women in Business event next week, but panics when her presentation fails because she can’t access her notes. Foiled by a password she can’t remember, Debbie decides to wing it and abandons her carefully prepared speech.

But how will the attendees feel when she’s honest about her illness?

“Debbie’s terrified that people will forget she’s ambitious and successful,” our Corrie source explains. “She doesn’t want her dementia to be the only thing that people focus on.

“This event was supposed to be a big deal, but she doesn’t want her illness to overshadow this special moment.”

In the run-up to the event, Debbie rehearses her speech. However, she’s thrown when she keeps losing her thread and stumbling over her words.

Continuing his plan to undermine her role in the business, Debbie’s brother Carl assures her that it’s fine to read from her notes. But is he trying to make her look unprofessional?

Right before the event begins, Carl asks Debbie for the login details so he can pay the staff, and she directs him to her notebook where all the details are written. Has she just given Carl a gold mine of information that he can use against her?

The Women in Business event begins and Debbie takes to the stage to introduce herself. However, when she tries to consult her notes on her tablet, she finds that the screen is locked – and she can’t remember the password.

“This is a huge crossroads for Debbie,” explains our insider. “She’s good at styling out her symptoms, especially if she doesn’t want too many questions about her dementia. But this time she decides to take a brave step towards her inevitable future.”

With the whole room watching, Debbie gives a raw and heartfelt speech about her dementia diagnosis. She’s nervous in case word gets back to any of her rivals, but tells the women in attendance that she intends to fight it all the way and continue to be the glamorous and successful business woman she’s always been.

How will the audience react to Debbie’s startling honesty? Will the Women in Business guests react positively to her openness, or will her competitors and associates be wary of her dementia news and begin to use it against her?
