EastEnders has confirmed a terrifying new Halloween mystery for Zoe Slater as a smashed photo causes high emotions. It comes amid a tense evening for some of the characters as some mysterious video footage emerges. Things get off to a tense start after Kat Slater publicly reveals bombshell information at The Vic that Zoe privately confided in her, which leads everyone to demand answers.

“It’s a dramatic end to the quiz night,” our EastEnders source has teased.

“After Kat sends shockwaves through the pub, she realises how much Zoe’s behaviour is impacting her business and family. With that weighing on her mind, Kat offers Zoe a huge ultimatum – but what could it be?”

Amid the events, Zoe decides to walk out as Kat and Alfie mull over the evening’s turn of events, though Zoe returns and interrupts them, accusing her mother of smashing a photo of them both. However, Kat denies it, raising more questions for Zoe over who is behind it.

She becomes increasingly paranoid, turning her accusations towards Vicki, though Anthony steps in to try and placate Zoe. He tries to support her, though ends up offending Zoe, leading her to storm off.

Later on, Alfie attends to a burst sewer pipe in the barrel store, but comes across an old VHS tape from the 1980s in the process.

During Halloween night, Zoe is convinced that someone is out to get her. She accuses Anthony in her paranoia and kicks him out of the pub. Concerned, Anthony goes to Kat, though it’s not clear whether she believes him.

Later on, Kat, Zoe and Tommy play the 1988 video tape, which raises huge questions about the past.
