If you thought all the secrets were out of Zoe Slater’s (Michelle Ryan) closet following her return to EastEnders last month, think again.

EastEnders Soap Scoop! Vicki's attack aftermath

Fans of the BBC soap recently learned that during her two decades away from Walford, Zoe gave birth to twins – a baby girl, who sadly died during childbirth, and a baby boy, who she subsequently gave up for adoption.

She later stunned old rival Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) by revealing their father was Sharon’s late husband and Zoe’s former lover Dennis Rickman (Nigel Harman).

While Sharon was horrified by Zoe’s claims, she later agreed to help Zoe track down her son, as the lad is the last living link to her beloved Dennis.

However, Zoe is growing impatient with Sharon, who is currently preoccupied with the aftermath of Joel Marshall’s (Max Murray) violent attack on her sister Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig).

Next week, Kat promises to help Zoe find her son, but is later left furious when she discovers her daughter has stolen money from the till at The Queen Vic to pay for a private investigator.

Kat later follows Zoe to a clandestine meeting with the PI to confront her, and grows even more suspicious when she hears Zoe lying to them.

Back home, Zoe overhears Kat telling Alfie that Zoe will have to leave if her antics continue, and tensions flare between mother and daughter.

They are briefly united when they rescue a cat that gets trapped in The Vic, but then Zoe drops a massive bombshell on Kat when she presses her for the truth.

What has Zoe revealed, and does it have anything to do with the real paternity of her twins?
