Emmerdale’s Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) is doing her best to keep her love affair with her boss Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) a secret from one very important person – her husband.
Kerry and Jai are trying to be discreet about the fact they are doing it all over the Depot office, a little tryst that began at the end of last year. But now that Kerry has gone and married Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell), things are a bit complicated and they’re not just keeping it secret to save their jobs.
Things recently got rocky for the pair when they resumed their horny hijinks and Kerry decided that the best way to throw people off the scent was to belittle Jai in public at every possible opportunity.
She embarrassed Jai at the Depot Manual Handling training day and she slagged him off to Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) in the pub. Poor Jai had almost had enough when Kerry told him she was doing it for his own good.
Somehow, they got through it, and their sexy secret resumed.
But it’s more important than ever that they keep it secret from Eric – Kerry married him in a tax scam to protect his finances, so that Jacob would one day inherit all his money.
But when Jai asked why they couldn’t come clean, she told him no one knows Eric like she does; he’s kind and sweet and soft inside, so this might actually hurt him, and she doesn’t want that.
Kerry and Jai are pretty confident that they are managing to keep it between themselves, even with Archie around.
But despite their best efforts, Pollard gets wind that something is off and he’s determined to work out what it is. He gives a look that suggests he knows more than they realise.
With an air of suspicion about him, Eric goes hunting for the truth and finds concrete evidence. But what will he do with it?
