Exclusive: Emmerdale sparks fly as Kammy helps new couple get together
Emmerdale star Shebz Miah has told fans to keep an eye out for a big new romance storyline coming soon. The show newcomer promised that his character Kammy Hadiq will be playing cupid when he spots an unexpected spark between two characters.
Kammy has shown himself to be a loyal friend over the past few weeks, doing everything he can to support Vinny Dingle through a turbulent time in his life. And it seems that we’ll be seeing even more of Kammy’s caring side, as he realises that two villagers could have a connection.

“Kammy is going to be pulling the strings behind the scenes. There might be a new relationship blossoming,” he explained.
“And Kammy might be the one to help orchestrate it! We’ve got Kammy helping out, helping his friends.”
Kammy recently helped Vinny to find the courage to speak out against evil Mike in court. Mike had brutally attacked Vinny and blackmailed him for thousands of pounds after they’d connected on an internet forum.
“Obviously there’s all the stuff happening with Kammy and Vinny at the moment,” Shebz continued. “Kammy’s just being a supportive friend and their friendship will blossom even further.”
Meanwhile, Kammy’s own love life will also remain a focus for Emmerdale as he continues growing closer to Belle Dingle.
Spoilers for next week’s episodes have revealed that Kammy and Belle soon decide to take the next step in their relationship, although they’re soon left to wonder whether they moved too quickly.
Shebz said: “Kammy and Belle are progressing. It is hopefully going to be something interesting. I don’t want to give too much away.
“It’s progressing well and that’s all I can say for now. But it’s Emmerdale and they always keep the fans on their toes, so we’ll just have to wait and see what happens…”
The Inside Soap Awards 2025 took place in London on Monday and saw Emmerdale take home three prizes.
