A former EastEnders star is among the actors set to guest star in the upcoming series of Death in Paradise.

Scarlett Alice Johnson, known for her role as Vicki Fowler in EastEnders, will appear in the latest series of BBC’s Death in Paradise.

She joins a line-up of guest talent for the 15th series, which returns to BBC iPlayer and BBC One on January 30.

Sarah Hadland, from Miranda; Siobhan Finneran, known for Benidorm; and Steffan Rhodri of Gavin and Stacey will all make appearances in the upcoming series.

They will be joined by Ben Willbond from Ghosts and Sean Delaney, who starred in Killing Eve.

The new series will see EastEnders actor Don Gilet return as DI Mervin Wilson, who joined the fictional island of Saint Marie in the previous series, settling into his role.

DI Wilson will be seen navigating both new cases and his relationship with his recently discovered half-brother, Solomon Clarke, played by Daniel Ward.

Commissioner Selwyn Patterson, portrayed by long-standing cast member Don Warrington, will return as he works to win back the trust of the island, with help from Catherine Bordey, played by Elizabeth Bourgine.

Shaquille Ali-Yebuah is back as Officer Sebastian Rose, working alongside DS Naomi Thomas, played by Shanton Jackson, to help integrate new recruit sergeant Mattie Fletcher, played by Catherine Garton.
