This week, exciting news came and many fans can’t wait to see Shemar Moore back at Young & Restless as Malcolm. A few of his castmates were pleased to have him home in Genoa City as well and took to social media to share a first-look photo with the actor.

Christel Khalil, who is back from maternity leave and plays Moore’s onscreen daughter Lily, posted a pic alongside him, Bryton James (Devon) and Sean Dominic (Nate) and shared, “Day one with Daddy O done!”

Now that we’ve gotten our first look at the Winters family back together, for those who didn’t hear, Moore isn’t the only blast from the past returning… Vivica A. Fox will reprise her 1990’s role as Dr. Stephanie Simmons. And while she and Malcolm didn’t go all in in the romance department back then, it has been said that their return will have “shocking and lasting implications for the residents of Genoa City.”

Whatever the case may be, Reddit poster Filthycute87 said it best, “I’m looking forward to this. I hope the writers can do them justice and not have them go from set to set eating and drinking coffee.” And we have a theory about one secret that would keep them from doing that — a secret so big that the Winters won’t be the only ones affected, nor shocked beyond belief.
