Hope’s heart is torn again — after ending things with Carter, will she really take Liam back or finally choose herself?
Hope’s Heart vs. Her Head
In the October 24 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) found herself once again at an emotional crossroads — torn between the echoes of her past and the uncertainty of her future.
After ending her engagement to Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), Hope is free — but freedom doesn’t mean clarity. With her parents, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), nudging her toward reconciliation with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), Hope has to ask herself the toughest question of all: What does her heart truly want?
Brooke and Deacon Play Matchmakers
The episode began at Forrester Creations, where Brooke, Hope, Carter, and Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) were testing new fragrance samples for HFTF. But it wasn’t long before perfume turned to passion — or at least, talk of it.
When the topic of Liam came up, Brooke immediately jumped into matchmaking mode, insisting that Liam and Hope’s story wasn’t finished. “You two have been through so much,” Brooke said. “Maybe this is your chance to start again.”
Moments later, Deacon entered, catching the tail end of the conversation. A lifelong “Lope” fan, Deacon couldn’t help but chime in, agreeing that Hope and Liam’s love story deserved another shot.
“Don’t let him slip away this time,” Deacon urged.
But Hope wasn’t as sure. She tried steering the conversation toward Deacon’s failing marriage with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), reminding her father that love can’t survive on wishful thinking — especially when deception and danger are involved.
“Sheila’s never going to change,” Hope warned. “You deserve better.”
Deacon admitted he and Sheila were “separated, not divorced,” but his daughter’s words hit hard. Still, he couldn’t resist turning the advice back on her. “Love’s messy, kid. But sometimes it’s worth the fight,” he said, clearly hoping she’d take the hint.
Hope’s Dilemma: Love or Loyalty?
Later, Brooke assured Hope that she wasn’t trying to pressure her, but she made it clear that Liam was “the safest bet.” Hope didn’t disagree that she still loves him — in fact, she admitted it outright.
“How could I not love him?” Hope confessed softly.
But love, for Hope, isn’t the same as trust. The pain of Liam’s constant back-and-forth between her and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) still lingers. She knows all too well that going back could mean reopening old wounds.
Hope reflected on her past — on Liam’s betrayals, on Thomas’s manipulations, and on her brief but doomed romance with Carter. “I don’t want to end up back in the same place,” she admitted.
Her focus, for now, remains on stability — for herself and for her daughter, Beth (Jordyn Lynn Ariza). But with Brooke and Deacon both gently pushing her toward her ex, Hope’s resolve may be tested.
Liam Gets His Pep Talk
Elsewhere, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) encouraged Liam to stop overthinking and start fighting for Hope. “You’re a Spencer man,” Bill reminded him. “When you want something, you go after it.”
Liam, inspired but conflicted, seems poised to do just that — but will Hope see his renewed determination as love… or manipulation?
What Comes Next
Hope’s dilemma has never been clearer — or more complicated. Does she truly want Liam back, or is she trying to rebuild the family unit for Beth’s sake?
With Carter moving on and Liam potentially ready to make his move, Hope finds herself at a crossroads once again — torn between history and healing.
And as The Bold and the Beautiful continues to weave its web of love and loyalty, one thing is certain: Hope Logan’s heart is far from finished making headlines.
