HOT NEWS!! EastEnders airs a worrying change in Kojo’s big storyline – is he in danger?
EastEnders has aired a dangerous new twist in Kojo Asare’s drug storyline.
Viewer’s know that Kojo’s flat is being used by Harry and Okie to carry out their drug operation for Ravi.
Kojo has already been put in serious danger, as last month he was given drugs by Okie with his brother George later finding him disorientated in the Square.
Since then George has become increasingly suspicious of Harry and his dealings with Okie, despite Kojo trying to reassure him.
On Monday’s episode, George took a key to Kojo’s flat after seeing Okie entering. After finding no evidence of any dodgy goings-on, George still wasn’t convinced and wanted a key to his brother’s place.
Later Harry told Ravi about George’s suspicions, leading Ravi to issue a chilling vow to deal with George himself.
On tonight’s episode (Tuesday, 16 September) Ravi and Okie asked Harry if George was working tonight, saying they were going to give him something to think about.
At the bar, George was mulling over an offer he’d had from Phil to commentate on a boxing tour. While Gina was against her dad going, Harry told him it was a good idea.
Later Harry went to visit Ravi and told him George has CTE and doctors have said that just one punch could kill him.
Ravi told him that the plan for George was already in motion and the people were just going to take him “off his feet for a while”.
Harry then called Kojo and asked him to meet with George and convince him to take the boxing gig.
After speaking with Kojo, George arrived at the Arches and announced he had decided to go on the boxing tour. As George left the Square, Ravi and Harry looked on.
Back at the flat, Harry came home to find Ravi and Okie there and Kojo in a panic.
The pair had just told Kojo that he had to take drugs up to Luton. Harry tried to tell them he would do it instead but they were adamant it had to be Kojo.
After Kojo went into his room, Okie explained to Harry that, as long as Kojo was seen working for them he was under their protection and would be safe, hinting that Kojo could soon be in danger.
Harry then went to speak to Kojo, convincing him that he was doing a good thing by transporting the drugs.
Later, Harry was drinking in the bar when Ravi came in. Okie soon returned from the job without Kojo.
Okie explained that he’d been separated from Kojo on the way back and had to leave him as there were too many police around.
A distressed Harry then stormed out of the bar, leaving Ravi and Okie.
Will Kojo make it back safely and what more danger will he find himself in at the hands of Okie and Ravi?
