Emmerdale’s Gabby Thomas gets an unwelcome reminder of another failed relationship tonight, as she discovers that her estranged husband Vinny Dingle has moved on with Lewis Barton. Meanwhile, Bear Wolf struggles to see a way forward after his recent ordeal.

1. Bear faces another tough day

Bear turns to alcohol as a crutch after visiting Ray in the chapel of rest yesterday. He tries to return to normality by visiting the café, but is dismayed to hear friends and neighbours talking openly about his trauma.

Later, Bear goes to see Manpreet and begs for tablets to ease the constant pain in his arm. Bear complains of sleepless nights caused by the injury, but Manpreet refuses to prescribe pills since he’s already going through withdrawal from the drugs that Ray gave to him.

2. Laurel and Bear continue to bond

Laurel risks further wrath from Paddy when she continues to involve herself in Bear’s problems. She confronts Bear for drinking and urges him to see that there’s another way forward.

The pair end up having a heart-to-heart over their conflicted feelings regarding Ray’s death. It’s an emotional moment as Bear reflects on how Ray even called him “dad” during their time on the farm together.

But how will Paddy feel when he finds out about this cosy chat?

3. Arthur hears too much

As Laurel confides in Nicola about her recent decision to see Ray one last time, Arthur overhears the conversation and demands an explanation.

As Arthur was already giving Laurel a hard time over the decisions she made when Ray was alive, this latest development is sure to make everything much worse!

4. Sarah pushes herself forward to help Cain

Cain considers more car thefts to help solve his family’s ongoing financial problems.

Sarah’s hurt that Cain seems to be leaving her out of it, despite how much they enjoyed their recent escapades when they stole Joe’s vehicle. As she pushes to be his criminal co-conspirator, will Cain listen?

5. Gabby makes a discovery

At The Hide, loved-up Lewis and Vinny let Mandy know that they’re now officially an item.

Mandy is so happy that she immediately lets the news slip to Gabby, forgetting to consider how she might feel after her split from Vinny. Torn between happiness for Vinny and dismay at how things turned out, will Gabby give the new couple her blessing?
