In Monday’s #Days recap, Holly has a few choice words for Sophia, who in turn reaches out for help from a not-so-surprising person. Plus, is Javi leaving for good? Get the details here… Trey’s Christening Is Emotional as Javi Prepares to Leave Salem — Plus, Sophia and Holly Have an Explosive Confrontation!
In the Hernandez kitchen, Ari stumbles in to get some coffee, and Gabi realizes her underage daughter is hungover.
Rafe comes home, finds Ari and Gabi snapping at one another about her drinking, and then gets a call from Johnny inviting them to Trey’s christening. Ari has to skip it, because she and Holly have their dorm move-in, which can’t be changed.
They learn the christening was fast-tracked because Javi has to leave for Texas because of his dad’s upcoming heart surgery. Ari admits she’s okay missing the event, given that Leo will be there. Plus, she has to shop for new clothes, since Holly wants them to rush a sorority this year. (Well, we know that won’t go well and someone will get hazed!)

Rafe then gets a text from Eli about their trip to Alamania to question Vivian about the DiMera kidnappings. Gabi knows they are also going to confirm Stefan is dead and thanks Rafe for going to get her closure.
Will Sophia Open Her Mouth?
Holly shows up at Bayview, as Dr. Gregory called her to try to help with Sophia’s recovery. Soon, Sophia is brought in and is visibly annoyed to find Holly there. Holly explains that Dr. Gregory believes her presence may help Sophia to talk. The doctor asks Sophia to let her feelings out so the healing can begin.

Sophia tries to slap Holly, but the doctor stops her. Holly is shocked, as is Dr. Gregory. Holly decides to say what’s on her mind. She tells Sophia her dating Tate behind Sophia’s back hurt her, but it was over two years ago, so grow up and get over it, as Sophia has done a hell of a lot worse. Holly says she’s done feeling sorry for her, calls her a narcissistic bitch, and storms out.
Sophia sits there unfazed, and Dr. Gregory apologizes for triggering her. Sophia writes down, “I hate her!”
Preparing for Trey’s Big Day
At Johnny and Chanel’s, he tells his wife that Rafe is coming and will pass on the message to his family. They dote over Trey and talk about how glad they are to be able to do this before Javi leaves for Texas. They wonder whether Leo will come, given the aftermath of the wedding.

Paulina soon shows up with Chanel’s christening gown for Trey to use. Paulina and Chanel get a chance to talk privately, and Chanel feels things are better between her and Johnny, who has promised to be optimistic about this new baby.
Johnny rejoins the ladies after a diaper change for the baby and explains that Chad can’t be here today because he has a custody hearing, and that Marlena and Belle took a day trip to Chicago. They then dress Trey to welcome him into God’s family.
Is This Goodbye?
Leo is sitting in his hotel room sulking when Javi shows up at his door. Javi brings news of Trey’s christening, and Leo says he’ll be there, but asks why the change of plans. Javi explains he has to leave town, but Leo refuses to let that happen.

Javi explains he must go to Texas as his dad is having heart surgery, which Leo understands. However, Leo thinks he should be there for him, as he’s Javi’s family. Javi doesn’t know if they can be a family now that things have changed between them. Leo won’t accept that, but Javi cries he’s trying to accept it because he knows… He doesn’t finish the sentence. Leo asks when he’ll be back from Texas, and Javi admits he might not come back…
It’s Time for a Christening!
Rafe and Gabi arrive at the church where Javi is waiting. They all hug, and Leo walks in and says he’s happy to be here for the christening of their Godson.
Chanel, Johnny and Trey arrive, and they all take family photos. Poor Leo is basically pushed to the background.

The christening begins, and Leo and Javi step forward as godparents, promising to fulfill their duties. The priest then continues the christening of John Paul, and everyone applauds. (John Paul? Maybe he’ll grow up to be the next Pope and fight the devil when he returns to Salem one day!)
Holly Gets Another Shock
Holly meets Ari in Horton Square and tells her about her encounter with crazy Sophia. Holly admits she’s afraid of what Sophia would do to her if she is ever released. That’s when Ari tells Holly about how she thought she saw Sophia out and about last night.

Back in Bayview, Dr. Gregory says Sophia’s writing, “I hate her!!!” is progress, as Sophia is finally communicating with her. She says that for Sophia to heal, she has to explore her negative emotions. She also says using Rachel was wrong, and they will be given a break from one another. Sophia clenches her fists at hearing this. The doctor asks if there is another patient in the group she might want to get to know and confide in.

Sophia doesn’t answer, so Dr. Gregory tells her she can’t sneak out anymore, and the sooner she communicates openly and honestly, the sooner she can reclaim her life on the outside.
In the Show’s Final Moments
At the church, Javi tells Trey how honored he is to be his godfather and promises to always take his responsibility to him very seriously. Chanel hugs and thanks him. He thanks her for doing this before he had to leave. She says they’ll be praying for his father.
Javi tells Rafe and Gabi how much he’ll miss them, but he refuses a ride to the airport as he hates airport goodbyes. They all embrace as Javi cries. Leo then asks Javi if they can talk before he leaves, and Javi finally agrees.
In Horton Square, Holly tells Ari there is no way she could have seen Sophia, unless she managed to escape. Holly refuses to entertain the possibility, and Ari suggests it may have been someone who looked like her. (Shouldn’t the doctor be obligated warn Holly that Sophia escaped once already?)
Javi and Leo arrive, and Javi goes to speak with Ari and say goodbye. Ari says she’ll miss him, and she hopes he comes back soon.
Ari leaves, and Javi tells Leo to make this quick, as he is terrible at goodbyes. Leo says, “I have no intention of saying goodbye…”

Back in Bayview, Sophia returns to her room and finds her phone, which she’s hidden under her mattress. She texts Melinda and says she needs to see her.
