In Thursday’s #BoldAndBeautiful recap, Sheila leaves Taylor with a warning, Ridge approaches Eric, and Hope and Liam wed. Hope and Liam Officially Reunite Their Family — and an Emotional Ridge Approaches Eric

At Bill’s place, Beth welcomes everyone to the wedding of the century. She notes that it’s not an ordinary wedding, with a kid presiding, but this will be more of a party celebrating her parents. She thanks Hope and Liam for putting their family back together.

Did Taylor Call Sheila Crazy?!

At Taylor’s office, Sheila paces and rants that she should have been at Deacon’s side at the wedding, but no, Hope wasn’t going to let that happen. Taylor urges her to calm down a bit before she deals with this… crashing the wedding would be a crazy thing to do. Sheila fumes, “Crazy. Is that your professional opinion? You think I’m crazy?”

Taylor clarifies that she didn’t call Sheila crazy. Sheila apologizes. Tay’s glad she’s talking to her and not acting on impulses. She urges her to be a good person, and things will turn around for her. Sheila finally found love… even if Deacon’s family never accepts her.

Sheila announces it’s time for her to leave and Taylor hopes she’s going home. Sheila doesn’t answer. Taylor asks her not to pop in unannounced again… this is supposed to be a safe, private place for her patients. Sheila thanks her for everything she did for her and Deacon. They both value their relationship with Taylor. As she goes, Sheila warns, “Just don’t let me down.”

Ridge Beats Himself Up

At Forrester, Steffy’s sure if Ridge was at the wedding he’d be butting heads with Bill. Ridge insists he’d behave… he just doesn’t feel like celebrating right now. He tried to do the right thing and it blew up in his face.

Ridge beats himself up for not even asking his dad, and wonders if they could meet in the middle somewhere. He takes a call from Charlie and tells Steffy that Eric’s in the building. She asks, “So, what are you going to do?”

Ridge finds his dad on the runway and teases him. They each ask why they’re not at the wedding. Eric wanted to come to the building… Forrester. Getting to the crux of their issues, Ridge lets his dad know he respects him. “I’d be nothing without you.”

Pre-Wedding Speeches

Over at Bill’s place, Deacon thanks them for including him and gives Hope and Liam his blessing. It fills his heart to have Hope’s brother there, her son, and her charming daughter. They all wish her a lifetime of happiness. Deke speaks next. He’s never been more certain of his sister’s happiness or her future. Curious, given Liam’s track record. Donna gets up next and tearfully reads a passage, as does Katie, who declares that this day is about all of them… the Logans and Spencers. One family united.

Bill is the next to make an emotional speech, welcoming Hope back to the Spencer family and congratulating them both. He’s followed by Brooke, who is proud of both Hope and Liam for reuniting their family. Beth announces it’s time for the vows.

Steffy Updates Taylor

Steffy stops in on Taylor at work, and her mother tells her Sheila was just there venting about not being invited to Hope and Liam’s wedding. Steffy sighs… she’s delusional. She then fills her mom in on Ridge skipping the nuptials because he’s worried about Granddad. Taylor gets up to speed on Eric reacting badly to the surprise retirement party and wonders if Ridge is having second thoughts.

At that very moment, Ridge tells Eric he wants him to live; to be there forever. He thought retirement would be the icing on the cake. “We’re partners and I will be your partner as long as you will have me.”

The Final Scenes

At Bill’s place, Liam is first to speak his personal vows. He lists Hope’s attributes and says she makes him want to be better. She gave him Beth and he is so grateful to her every day. He promises to be the man she deserves. Beth prompts Hope to speak, and she tells her husband-to-be that he is strong and compassionate. She marvels at them standing there together after all they’ve been through. “We’ve already lived a lot of life.” They had to learn a few lessons before they could be there with it feeling so right. She’s elated to reunite their family.

Beth officiates as they each say, “I do,” and Douglas hands over the rings. Once they’ve put them on their fingers, Beth pronounces them husband and wife. “You can kiss mommy now, daddy.” Hope and Liam do so as everyone applauds.
