At Society, Sally tells Audra that Billy’s headed for a big fall and there’s nothing she can do about it… she has to focus on Abbott Communications. Audra relishes in Victor’s downfall.
Sally assures Audra that Abbott Communications will be fine. Since Jill’s taken a turn for the worse, she’s decided to hire Audra now and deal with any consequences later.

Victoria Fights Back
Victoria arrives at Crimson Lights, where Nate asks her to join him. Reluctantly, she sits and tells him, “It’s gone, Nate. It’s all gone.” She complains about Phyllis gloating and explains that this would be really hard to prove in court… Cane knows that.
Nate curses out Cane, who cost his brother his life. Victoria explains her father and Adam have come up with a counterattack, but Victor’s keeping her in the dark. She fumes that she’ll come up with a plan of her own.

Nate cheers her on as she laughs that some people call her Victor Jr. Turning serious, she needs to figure out a way to win this. Nate thinks it’s smart to go after Phyllis and Cane from all angles, but she needs to eat. “Let me buy you dinner.”
Dom’s Kidnapping Unfolds
At the Chancellor house, Abby and Devon are frantically searching for Dom now that it’s getting dark. She calls for her son to come out. Devon tries to convince his wife that the boy is hiding and will pop out. Abby hollers at him to stop pretending this is a game. He irritates her further by remaining calm and going off to find a flashlight.

Mariah hustles Dom into the motel room and enthuses about what a great hiding spot this is… they have games, TV, and Crimson Lights’ cookies. The kid is pleased. When he heads into the bathroom to wash his hands, the redhead flashes back to feeding him in the hospital after his birth.
As Mariah panics about what she’s done, Ian appears and advises her not to lose her resolve. “You did it. You have a family again.” They bicker and Ian clucks that guilt is a useless emotion. She has to put herself first.

Ian and Mariah keep up the debate about how she’ll pull this off. Ian is sure that deep down, children already fear their parents will abandon them. Mariah is suitably appalled. Ian croons that she can show Dom what a true family is… she can save him if she has faith in herself.

Dom rejoins Mariah and she chatters away at him as he dives into the Crimson Lights’ cookies. He asks if his mom is coming soon. Mariah says no… she’s running late. Dom asks where they’re going next. She says it’s a surprise.

At the Chancellor mansion, Abby screams at Devon that something has happened to Dom. She can feel it in her gut! As Devon decides to call the police, Abby notices the strange scarf on the chair. She doesn’t remember the nanny wearing it. Devon tries calling her.

In the motel room, Mariah plays hide and seek with Dom, who is giggling underneath a blanket. When she finds him, he exclaims, “I’m having the best time!” Hugging the boy, Mariah murmurs, “So am I, Bowie. So am I.”
