Since then, she has escalated to threatening Sam, telling him that no one would believe him.

When Megan realised that Sam had hidden a camera in her flat to catch her with Will, she turned it around on him and threatened to expose him as a ‘creep’.

Unfortunately, all of this has had a much bigger impact on Sam than simply keeping him quiet.

Desperate to ensure that his grades didn’t slip, Sam started taking ADHD medication so that he could stay awake to study.

However, in tonight’s episode, his abuse of the pills had dire consequences.

He gave his family a fright when he collapsed in the street, and dad Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) was shocked to learn about the drugs he’d been taking.

Sam came clean after regaining consciousness and promised he would stop taking the medication.

However, Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) was concerned that there was more to his drug-taking than just his grades. She has noticed a change in his attitude and behaviour over the past few weeks and has been determined to get to the bottom of it.

Unfortunately, Sam refused to open up to her, and maintained that he was simply stressed about his exams.

But, that could soon be set to change…

Later in the episode, having once again promised Will that she would make sure to keep Sam quiet, Megan paid him a visit.

She made him promise to stick to their deal, reminding him of what would happen if he spoke out.

However, what she didn’t realise was that Leanne was watching through the window.

Is Megan finally set to be caught out? Or will she continue to torment poor Sam?
