Coronation Street Finally Reveals the Emotional Outcome of Baby Harper’s Operation — But Will This Fragile Victory Heal the Family… or Lead to an Even More Devastating Twist?! 😢👶⚠️

Back at home, Nick Tilsley called Gail Chadwick and ran through all the potential things that could go wrong with the operation, much to the annoyance of everyone else trying to eat their breakfast.

Two hours into the 10 hour operation, David and Shona — who were already getting on each other’s nerves — were surprised to see Nick, Bethany, Jodie, Toyah and Sarah turn up, as they had specifically asked them not to.

While David wanted everyone to go away (except for Toyah, who had brought food) Shona was actually glad of the extra company, especially when Jodie quietly stated it was her suggestion to come and show support.

The mood soured later on when they saw two nurses rush into Harper’s room. They wouldn’t let David and Shona in, but said “something about a bleed”.

The lack of specific answer really set David on edge and he took it out on his family, telling them: “I don’t want your support. I don’t want any of you here. You’re just making things worse. Just go. Please.”

Jodie returned to the hospital to give David some snacks and reassurance and shared a hug with him before letting him go.

She then spoke to a young mum in the corridor, who assumed Jodie and David were a couple. She went along with it and basked in the attention.

More hours went by and, as the couple continued to wait, a doctor finally came out to reveal how things went.

Thankfully, it was good news and Harper was “totally fine”, with David joking that their child was “proper ‘ard”.

As David and Shona hugged and said how much they loved each other, Jodie watched on through the window…
