NEW UPDATE! Major Coronation Street family in a panic as child goes missing
There were shocked faces in Coronation Street when Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) pitched up outside the Rovers Return in Monday (October 27)’s episode – and word quickly got round that she was the new landlady of the iconic pub.
Eva arrived with her family – partner Ben Driscoll (Aaron McCusker) and daughter Susie (Aurora Bradshaw). It was quickly revealed that Eva is also step-mum to Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) ’s boyfriend Ollie (Raphael Akuwudike), who’s been in Weatherfield for some time but was sworn to secrecy about his dad Ben’s plans to buy the pub for Eva.
Eva, of course, has enormous history in the Street and numerous connections to current characters, not least her sisters Leanne and Toyah Battersby (Jane Danson and Georgia Taylor). There’s also her former rivalry with Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) set to be reignited.
The two were at loggerheads previously as the result of a love triangle between the two women and Aidan Connor (Shayne Ward).
Maria’s face as she spotted Eva outside the Rovers spoke volumes about her feelings at seeing her old rival again.

But as well as rekindling old relationships good and bad, the Driscoll family also bring their own drama with them.
As the family celebrated a new era for the Rovers, the festivities were somewhat soured (as far as Eva was concerned) by the arrival of Ben’s mother, Maggie (Pauline McLynn) – who announced that she was moving in.
And, as she put up the money so that Ben could buy the pub, she doesn’t seem about to take a back seat to Eva.
As the family settle in, there is one of them still to appear. Ben’s younger son Will (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) is yet to join the family as he’s still in Hull and will arrive by train next week.
Except… he doesn’t. In upcoming episodes Eva, Ben and Maggie excitedly prepare for his arrival.

Ollie is dispatched to the station to meet his brother, but when he gets there the train arrives on time but Will isn’t on it. A worried Ollie tries to ring him, but there’s no answer.
When Eva finds out about this she’s thrown into panic, while Maggie reminds her that Will never wanted to move away from Hull anyway and has probably decided to stay there.
It’s a worrying situation as the family have no idea where Will could be. Ben decides to go to Hull in the hope that he can track his son down.
That proves unsuccessful, and the family face up to the fact that Will is missing. Luckily you’re never far from a police officer in Coronation Street and Eva and Ben decide to officially report Will as being missing.
As the police arrive, Eva and Ben are frantic with worry about where he could be and what might be happening to him.
It turns out that he’s a lot closer than they think – but his reappearance will only be the start of their problems, as young Will is hiding a huge secret.
