SHOCKING NEWS!! Ray issues sinister warning to abused April in Emmerdale about upcoming job
Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) ups the ante in Emmerdale soon as April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) continues to waver about completing his latest jobs.
In debt to the drug dealer, April recently told Ray that she’d be willing to take on more jobs to pay the money off quicker. She was given a burner phone, and no choice but to suck it up and deal with the pressure and stress that would come with accepting more riskier tasks.
Everything changed for April when her little brother Leo ended up consuming some pills that had fallen out of her bag. As she panicked about the police questioning her, April bumped into Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths), who sensed that something was up.She gently encouraged April to open up and outside, the youngster confirmed that she had been dealing drugs for Ray. She believed that telling the police would be the right thing to do next, leading to Celia slapping her in anger.

Revealing that she’s in charge of the drugs operation, not Ray, allowed us to learn that Celia had already been told about Leo’s hospitalisation and got to A&E before Ray. She had to step in and sort her son’s mess out again, and suffice to say she wasn’t happy about that at all.
At their home, Celia told Ray to stop being so soft on April. She called her son weak, and the man was left to apologise to his mum and think about his mistakes.
The main development in recent days has seen April move out of Smithy Cottage and into the B&B, solely so she can continue dealing without her family finding out.
In upcoming episodes, Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) attempts to get closer to April again, adamant his daughter his hiding something.
Meanwhile, Ray exerts pressure on April, telling her to go through with the job next time, whether she likes it or not.
Later, as Celia and Ray meet to discuss their troubles with Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) and April, the young man is delighted when Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) gets him a rally driving experience to celebrate passing his driving test.

Frustratingly for Dylan, he’s left torn when his latest job from Ray clashes with Paddy’s plan.
Ray suggests doing a drop tomorrow, but Dylan turns it down, wanting to spend more time with Paddy.
In an attempt to show his control, Ray gently reminds Dylan about his mounting debt, and how that won’t go anywhere if he’s too busy with the local vet.
But who will Dylan choose?

‘Those scenes I’m just in the middle of reading, and they’re coming!’, star Jaye Griffiths said.
‘So be where you are now and enjoy it because, well, I nearly blew the storyline then! I can say no more!
‘Other than, if you cross Celia, write a will! She does not like or accept failure. Mistakes are something she has very little patience or tolerance for.
‘There is many a merry-go-round to navigate. Oh my goodness [laughs], there’s so much more to come. It’s so delicious! I know I shouldn’t enjoy it this much, but I’m afraid I do. I’m just going to say there’s a stunts coordinator, that’s all I’m going to say.’
