Something smells fishy when it comes to The Nose! Daphne’s Deception Could Doom Her and Carter’s Marriage From ‘I Do’ 🧐 #BoldAndBeautiful
It appears that all of Carter’s problems on Bold & Beautiful are in the rearview mirror. At long last, he’s found a woman who wants him and only him. Surely, his marriage proposal to Daphne will be his last! He’s set for a life of wedded bliss with his beautiful Parisian ‘Nose’… or is he?! We smell something fishy…
It looks like smooth sailing ahead for Bold & Beautiful’s ‘Darter’, but Daphne’s strange behavior ahead of the proposal definitely gave us pause… and the more we thought about it, the darker the speculation became.
No one at Forrester Creations could understand Daphne’s sudden decision to return to Paris. She was on the verge of getting everything she’d dreamed of with the object of her affections. Hope was out of Carter’s life and married off, Walton was back in good with Ridge and focused solely on his lovely Parisian girlfriend. So, what would spur the perfumier to suddenly announce her departure?
Looking back on the scenes, it was Daphne’s most cryptic remark that gave us a clue as to what was going on with her. She stated that she’d always wanted a family but that wasn’t “in the cards” for her. When Carter asked what she meant by that, his girl declined to explain. Soon after, she seemed to soften her stance, swayed somewhat by his romantic proclamation that he, too, wanted to be married with kids… and he wanted it with her.
As Carter dropped on bended knee and produced an eye-popping engagement ring out of nowhere, Daphne still didn’t leap to put the man out of his misery with an enthusiastic “yes”. So, what the heck is going on with her?
Well, we think Daphne’s keeping a secret. One she almost confessed when she said a family wasn’t “in the cards” for her. If our suspicions pan out, Carter will learn (probably after they’re married) that Daphne Rose cannot conceive children.
Knowing this, and knowing full well that Carter yearns to be a family man, Daphne probably decided to flee before she wrecked his life. Nevermind that she could have just told him. They could adopt or use a surrgate to achieve their mutual dream. But this is Bold & Beautiful, where a secret such as this definitely has the potential to be a deal-breaker for Carter, if only because Daphne kept him in the dark.
