Weatherfield Stunned: Is This Unlikely Resident About to Destroy Jodie’s Biggest Secret? 😱🔥🕵️‍♂️

Coronation Street’s Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown) is slowly proving herself to be someone who takes great pleasure in causing trouble.

Jodie is busy trying to destroy Shona Platt’s (Julia Goulding) life because she resents her sister for leaving the family home when she became a teen mum. Already we’ve seen her lie about being in an abusive relationship, and attempt to get close to Shona’s husband David Platt (Jack P Shepherd).

A couple of days ago, viewers saw Jodie looking through what appeared to be a mementos box. Due to the fact it was full of random items, and viewers were already growing suspicious of her by this point, they began to wonder if it was some sort of trophy box, with the items inside belonging to Jodie’s past victims.

The fact she enjoys making other people’s lives a misery was highlighted in an episode this week, and it involved creepy newcomer Mal Roper (Tim Treloar).

Mal arrived in January as the husband of the woman Roy Cropper (David Neilson) had been texting. Mal and Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) then spent the evening together at a hotel and for some reason, he won’t leave her alone.

In Tuesday’s instalment of the ITV soap, Jodie watched Mal attempt to connect with Bernie again. She reacted to everything he said in a blunt way, not wanting to give Mal the wrong impression.

However, as night fell, Jodie decided to take advantage and be the one to give Mal some false hope.

Outside, Jodie claimed that Bernie has been speaking a lot about how much Mal cares about her.

Mal smiled in this moment, and his warped view that something is going on between him and Bernie was further fuelled when Jodie said that Bernie lights up whenever Mal appears.

Mal then headed off, thrilled his plan was working.

It’s very clear that Jodie only approached Mal that evening because she had clashed with Bernie earlier in the day over a wrong order.

If Mal ends up telling Bernie about Jodie’s comments, will he inadvertently expose her wickedness?

In future episodes of the show, Mal’s behaviour will get darker as he locks him and Bernie in the café. He decides to confess his feelings to her, and she’s left incredibly uncomfortable.

‘She’s really quite frightened, and she’s been on the end of an aggressive, violent man a lot’, Jane Hazlegrove said.

‘So this is absolutely terrifying, she’s in deep now. It is really dangerous. She’s made herself  vulnerable—somehow she thinks she can kind of pull down her armour. Yeah. That’s her superpower, the way she has this hard shell that keeps her safe and.

‘But this is really bad. He’s unhinged. Then she also then discovers that someone has cut her head out of her wedding picture. I mean, this is stalker territory, he’s been in the house! She thinks at that point, “The only way for me to get away from this is to finally come clean to Dev about the kiss”?’
