Juicy! The reason Shemar Moore and Vivica A. Fox are bringing Malcolm Winters and Stephanie Simmons back to Young & Restless may be more compelling than our wildest imaginings, not only because of a mega-twist, but because the plot would open the door for more frequent future appearances.

As longtime Young & Restless viewers will recall, Malcolm and Stephanie dated back in the day. They were set up by none other than Nate’s mother, Olivia, who worked with Stephanie. Unfortunately, Steph’s busy schedule doomed the relationship and she eventually left town. But what if she left with a secret?

What if Stephanie left town pregnant and, unbeknownst to Malcolm, had his baby all those years ago?

A Young & Restless fan has floated a theory so delicious that we can’t help but hope that it might actually go down. Mark Harding teased, “My Spidey sense is saying that Holden is the son of Malcolm and Stephanie.” How soapy would that be?!

Yeah, yeah, we know Holden’s last name is Novak, but this could be the moniker of a stepfather who raised him. The casting, we have to say, would be dead on. Holden looks like he could be the handsome son of Mal and Steph, and the reveal would not only open the door for Moore and Fox to return to Genoa City in the future and give Holden ties to the canvas, but would have huge implications for other core characters, most notably, Lily.

Lily, of course, is Malcolm’s firstborn and would be stunned to discover she has a biological brother she never knew about… whom she’s already acquainted with, and whose best friend she romanced before his untimely death.
