Adam Barlow’s crisis is set to deepen on Coronation Street next week as he faces a worrying threat at his law firm. Viewers know that Alya Nazir is now working with Adam at Barlow Legal Services, having previously worked at Fabian’s in Dublin for Rich Pemberton before returning to Weatherfield.

Last week, Alya had a secret meeting with Rich behind Adam’s back. During the meeting, Rich accused Alya of leaking confidential information and warned her off poaching his clients.

Unfortunately for Alya, Adam broke the news that he had managed to poach one of Rich’s clients already, a woman named Jenna Mackie.

In this week’s scenes, Adam is set to face a nightmare at his law firm. With Alya in serious trouble for poaching key clients from her old boss, the returning character enacts his revenge.

When Rich orchestrates a data breach at Barlow Legal Services, the event has a catastrophic impact on Adam’s livelihood.

In scenes that will air on Monday, 23 March, Adam tells Alya that because of the embarrassing data breach at the law firm, they are losing clients at a rate of knots.

When Annie, who is in the process of suing George, talks to the firm, she threatens to take her business elsewhere, and Adam proposes a no-win, no-fee deal.

Will Annie decide to stay put, keeping trust in Adam and Alya to win the case against George?
